A moped has been used in a bizarre string of ram raids in Perth southern suburbs.

Three small companies on the Winthrop Village buying centre had been allegedly focused by the thieves in the early hours of Monday morning.

CCTV footage captures the thieves, carrying hoods and masks, managing to pressure the moped via a barber shop’s glass entrance door.

The thieves snatched two money registers earlier than operating off.

“Somebody’s clearly taken out all of the issues searching for cash,” William Tang from the buying centre’s Ipoh Kitchen advised 7NEWS.

“So it is simply money and run.”

Not one of the enterprise homeowners targetted on Monday morning had been robbed earlier than.

Nonetheless, one other shop across the nook in the buying centre, was attacked by one other window-smashing thief two weeks in the past.

After failing to get in with a crowbar, they smashed the window and fled the scene.
