Stunning footage has emerged exhibiting the second a ute exploded in a Melbourne street after an oxygen tank caught alight.
The incident occurred about 6.30pm on Friday on the intersection of Bellbridge Drive and Aitken Avenue, Hoppers Crossing, police stated.
The unidentified man gave operating commentary as he filmed the ute on fireplace earlier than it exploded forcing emergency service staff to hunt cowl.
The footage exhibits flames capturing skywards and particles flying throughout the street because the oxygen tank erupted.
“Wow that’s my work automobile on fireplace,” he stated in a peaceful voice because it exploded and emergency service staff took cowl.
“The acetylene bottle has simply exploded in the again of my automobile.

Police stated the oxygen tanks in the rear of the ute exploded and the automobile’s occupants have been unhurt.

Firefighters took simply 5 minutes to deliver the incident underneath management.
The top of the video exhibits the charred and twisted shell of the ute.
