USA. Travellers passing via Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy Worldwide Airport can now entry a brand new virtual reality (VR) experience, named “This is New York”.
The interactive journey permits customers to experience New York Metropolis’s well-known landmarks and locations – free from fears about COVID-19 – digitally, from a secure distance.
“This is New York” highlights locations inside the 5 boroughs of New York Metropolis, together with the Queens Unisphere, the Staten Island Ferry, Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Prospect Park Boathouse, and the 191st Road Subway Station.
The experience – which could be accessed via a cell gadget with the help of VR goggles – has been created on behalf of the airport by internet builders Christian Rietzke and Jourdan Ferguson.
JFK Worldwide Air Terminal President and CEO Roel Huinink mentioned:“Because the worldwide gateway to New York Metropolis, we’re proud to offer this virtual set up to showcase a few of the metropolis’s most treasured locations. The pandemic has made it harder for guests to see a few of the iconic places within the metropolis, and this experience permits them to securely see a few of the finest landmarks New York Metropolis has to supply when travelling via T4.”
JFK Airport Terminal 4 hosts 33 worldwide and home airways with an annual passenger quantity of greater than 21 million travellers in 2019.
