New Zealand has introduced changes to its isolation protocols for overseas travellers.

From November 14, the time overseas arrivals will spend in Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ) can be halved from 14 days to seven.

The seven days will then be adopted by house isolation till a unfavourable day 9 take a look at is returned.

But there may even be expanded quarantine-free journey for one-way travellers from some Pacific nations.

This means they won’t have to do MIQ.
