Man arrested after threatening public with samurai sword in popular CBD street

A person named Mark witnessed the incident and mentioned he was sitting and speaking to a good friend close to Synagogue Place when it occurred.

The Far North man was charged with aggravated assault, carrying an offensive weapon and illegal possession.
